The Truffade Z-Type is a type of Classic Sports Car in GTA 5. The car is the most expensive car in the series, its price being at $10 million. It is based on the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. The Truffade Z-Type is one of the oldest cars in Grand Theft Auto 5, along with the Duneloader, Roosevelt, Hotknife, Rat-Loader and the old Tractor. In GTA 5, The Truffade Z-Type has very characteristic handling, with excellent acceleration and a high top speed, It reaches from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. When at top speed, the Z-Type can slowly outrun most of the super cars. However, The Z-Type is very prone to tailspins and is merely difficult to control, however in the hands of an experienced driver, it can be a great getaway car, good for timed missions.
In GTA 5, the Z-Type‘s engine sounds same as the Hotknife and Dominator but is deeper in pitch. Along with several other vehicles, The Truffade Z-Type has no reverse lights. Although strangely enough, the car has 2 extra tail-lights in the back, these were probably going to be the reverse lights. They are now likely turning lights or prop indicators. One of the few extra/unique modifications available for the Truffade Z-Type is listed as a Skirts, but what it really consists of is a short running board which fills in the gap between the front and rear pontoon fenders.
